About Kate

Kate Laughery is the Energy Institute’s Associate Director for the Zimmerle Research Group.  She is responsible for the financial, human resources and  operations of the team and is also principal project manager for larger capital projects.  Kate thoroughly enjoys working within the land grant university research environment and facilitating the work of scientists and engineers.
