Communications Lead
The Communications Lead is the primary source of all internal and external communication activities for the Energy Institute (EI). As the point of contact for all media, communications and marketing activities, this position directs all facets of the Institute’s communication from creation of marketing/communications to editorial review of all public-facing content. In addition, this position provides supervision to a team of support staff of media, graphic design and digital or social media specialists. (e.g., social media postings, website content development, or graphics creation). This position advises the EI’s executive and administrative teams on communications strategy and implementation to connect with the wide audience base (alumni, donors, students, prospective students, faculty, staff, industry partners). By creating a yearly strategic communications plan that considers audience and mediums (e.g., web, social media, print, video), this position aims to strengthen the brand and further promote the research endeavors and global impact of the Institute. This position also provides communication support for Office of University Advancement development efforts, assisting with materials to support the cultivation and stewardship of donors.

Research Associate I, II, III (Open for 6 months)
The successful candidate will build strong and positive working relationships with staff, unit directors, researchers, campus faculty and administrators, as well as external community and business partners as required with each project grant. Occasional travel and working non-standard hours are expected. The Research Associates I, II, or III will support other organizational priorities, as defined by the Director of the Methane Emissions (METEC) Program and Remote and Distributed Energy Center (RADEC).
