About Anindita

Anindita Chakraborty works as a Simulation Software Engineer at the Energy Institute of Colorado State University. She is currently focused on testing the Methane Air Emissions Simulator (MAES) to enhance its performance while simultaneously implementing automation for testing processes.

Anindita holds a Master’s degree in Atmospheric Science from Colorado State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Asian University for Women. Before pursuing her Master’s degree, she worked in the development sector of Bangladesh, serving as a Regional Manager for the microfinance program at BRAC, Bangladesh. Additionally, she worked as a Communication Officer in the Climate Resilient Ecosystems and Livelihoods (CREL) project funded by USAID.
