Sid Suryanarayanan is an associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Colorado State University (CSU). He received the PhD in electrical engineering from Arizona State University in 2004 with a specialization in power systems engineering. He has co-authored over 100 publications in journals and conference proceedings and co-edited two books. He has designed, developed, and taught four graduate courses as well as an online graduate certificate program in power engineering at CSU. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to research, education, and service, in 2016, Prof. Suryanarayanan was named the inaugural recipient of the Lisa and Desi Rhoden Endowed Chair, the first-ever endowed professorship in the 100+ years history of the ECE department at CSU.
